Those who enjoy culture walks will discover our art-history treasures. The famous Hausstaetter building masters gave distinction to the area with the artistic work in a unique manner. In fact, there is hardly a church in the region, which was not developed under their influence.
Wilhelm Leibl, Johann Sperl and Leo von Welden, noted painters, whose works became world-famous, found strength and inspiration in the beauty of our countryside and in the genuine naturalness of the people.
In Kutterling, one can view Leibl's house. In the neighboring community of Berbling is the church in which the self-willed painter created his famous life's work "The Three Praying Women".
